EEW OSB celebrates 100th Transition Piece

Teesside manufacturer EEW Offshore Structures (Britain) Ltd celebrates the completion of its 100th Transition Piece.

Teesside manufacturer EEW Offshore Structures (Britain) Ltd celebrates the completion of its 100th Transition Piece to roll off the production line, just over 2 1/2 years after production first started at the plant.

The piece which is due to set sail to the Orsted Hornsea Project One wind farm project on 29th August 2018 will be fully completed by the EEW OSB team based at Haverton Hill on 19th June 2018.

Ray Taviner, Managing Director, said “It’s a fantastic achievement for us, EEW OSB to reach this milestone in such a short period of time, and we hope to continue in the future, building on the excellent work already achieved.”

Hornsea Project One is the largest offshore wind project to date and is due to be completed in 2020.
