Alongside the wind project Formosa the Danish energy company Ørsted is investing in an additional wind farm in East Asia. The wind farm named “Greater Changhua” will be established in the waters around 35 km off the west coast of Taiwan.
From December 2019 until February 2021 EEW KHPC will be producing 123 pin piles for 41 jacket constructions with a total tonnage of 38,000 tons. The installation is planned to start in 2021.
After completion the wind farm will have a capacity of 900 MW and will be able to provide 1 million households with green energy.
