Loading for Deutsche Bucht OWF successfully completed

On the evening of 19 December, 2018, EEW Special Pipe Constructions GmbH loaded the last three monopiles for the German offshore wind project Deutsche Bucht in the Rostock port.

A total of 31 foundations were loaded onto the barge using the RoRo method (Roll on/Roll off) with our own SMTPs (Multi-wheelers). Deutsche Bucht, the third offshore wind farm of Canadian power producer Northland Power, was the first project in which EEW SPC handled the loading itself. The monopiles were taken from Rostock to Cuxhaven. In the meantime, all foundations have been successfully installed at sea.
