The 600 MW wind farm of Swedish energy company Vattenfall is located 15 km off the Danish coast in the Baltic Sea. The transport, which was handled by the Dutch company Van Oord NV, was undertaken by means of floating and took between 8 and 10 hours.
"The installation of the 72nd and thus last monopole marks a significant milestone for Vattenfall, especially under the current COVID-19 conditions. Both the production and the load-out in Rostock were professional, on schedule and without any incidents. When it is commissioned at the end of 2021, the wind farm will be Denmark's largest offshore wind farm and will supply electricity to 600,000 households.
